The animation project was easily the most stressful piece of work I've completed for Digital Art this semester so far, without any sort of contest - though this is to be expected, as we were given ample warning ahead of time of just how much work the project itself required. Despite numerous stress factors adding onto the difficulty of completing it in a timely manner, I nonetheless managed to tackle the project on-time and submit it properly to have it reviewed alongside all the others, a fact that I remain incredibly proud of given the immense difficulty in producing decent-quality hand-drawn animation that actually looks good.

A significant core factor of the project itself was the idea behind it - taking the imaginative factor of tabletop games and translating it to animation while having the game itself continue on top of the animation. It's definitely not the first time anyone's had an idea like it, but it was novel enough in comparison to other projects that I was incredibly proud of the work done, as it was very much intended to flip the "daydream" sequence concept on it's head and do something completely new instead. While there were some obvious difficulties with hand-drawn animation, I was also able to use my own tabletop models as references for drawing animation segments, meaning that it was incredibly easy to produce detailed stills or semi-moving objects and vehicles without spending literal hours trying to get the linework correct. The look of the project ended up remarkably professional despite the hand-drawn aspect, and for that, I'm endlessly proud of myself.
