About the Artist

Though I don't live with them anymore, my family's dogs and cat are still dear to me!

Hi there! I'm a student at the University of Colorado Boulder, currently in their Exploratory Studies program. Having been enamored with art and the creation of it from a young age, I've always sought to show my creativity by expressing myself via different mediums, be they drawings, digital art, programming, and even other assorted hobbies like building miniature models for tabletop games. Though I'm aiming towards a major in Information Science here at CU Boulder, I'm hoping to expand my horizons and engage in a unique and meaningful way with students and professors alike through classes just like Digital Art. It's only through expression and interaction with others that I can expand my own mindset in meaningful ways!

I've studied the creation of art - especially digital art itself - for years, and have been capable of contributing to independently-ran open-source video games through the creation of pixel art and similar digital art. While I'm absolutely no expert in the creation of such things, I hope that my time here in Digital Art 1 and beyond can be used to expand my repertoire and help me grow all the more as both an artist and a person, through my interactions with others and how I engage with them. I'm definitely no professional, but I hope that my willingness to learn and create new things will lead me to success in this class!

Having lived on-campus last year, I'm now currently in my sophomore year, and living on my own just a block or so away from the main campus itself. There's still many, many things I have yet to learn about or get acclimated to, especially given the new environments I'm repeatedly finding myself in, but I'm doing my best to stay on-track and learn whatever I can, wherever I can!
